Virtual Costs

Since the OpenStack service we provide is free of any charge, sometimes we got the feeling nobody actually realizes the feeling of pain if there are any instances running that currently do not serve anything important. On the other hand commercial cloud space solutions exist and the value (in this case the real costs, that would be charged) are often underestimated.

In order to give you the opportunity to get an impression of what value the free service you are using would be doing a realistic and rather decent cost calculation we calculated the virtual costs of all project spaces since january 1st. The following price tags where used to calculate it.
